Welcome to FreeB

FreeB was the first GPL Medical Billing Engine. FreeB supports the HCFA 1500 and X12 837p 4010a formats. FreeB 2.0 (PHP) is developed by Uversa and SynSeer. FreeB 1.0 (Perl) is still used by the OpenEMR project. FreeB 1.0 was rewritten as REMITT which used by the FreeMED project.

New FreeB Website

I have finally gotten around to creating a new FreeB website and logo! The new logo is based on a signed HCFA 1500 (also called CMS 1500 now). There is no elegant was to represent "we also support X12 837p 4010a" so I did not try.

The new website also acknowledges the continuing development efforts that the OpenEMR project is putting into FreeB 1.0
